FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
1. How do I use this site?
First step is to find the programs that you use or have used and then please rate them and write a review for them. That will help this site accumulate opinions and make it more useful for everyone.
2. How do I rate and review a program?
For the program you want to review, click on the “Add Your Review” link, to get to the bottom of that program’s page where you can add your opinion.
There are only 4 criteria where you need to share your feedback for various credit cards and these criteria are:
Card rating - This is overall credit card rating. You have the option to choose from 1 star to 5 stars.
Features - If the credit card offers you good features, then it deserves good recognition. You can give from 1 to 5 stars.
Value for Money - This is a very important review requirement. If the credit card is excellent but it charges through the roof, it is not value for money card. So decide based on your experience how many stars the credit card deserves.
Support - We all know that if we don’t get the support when we need it, the credit card looses its’ value.
Then please add your opinion and any other comments you might have in the text box.
3. What are the categories?
Following are the main categories as of now:
- Business Credit Cards
- Cash Back Credit Cards
- Credit Card News i.e. learn to get the latest on the credit cards here.
- Credit Cards for Poor or bad credit
- Credit Score
- Low Rate Credit Cards
- Rewards Credit Cards
- Secured Line of Credit
- Student Credit Cards
- Unsecured Line of Credit
We will keep adding more as we expand this site.
4. Is it safe to post my review and rating?
We need your name and e-mail address to verify that you are a real person. This is important to avoid spam machines from making a mess of this site. Only your name (with a link to your website if you enter one) will be displayed. Your e-mail address will never be displayed on the site. It will be locked away and will never be sold or given to anyone. You will not be spammed by me or anyone else because of your post at this site.
5. What is your Privacy Policy?
You can check the privacy policy here.
6. How is the average rating determined?
The ratings are weighted by how recently the review and rating were submitted. A rating submitted today will have twice the weight of a rating from a year ago and 4 times the weight of one from 2 years ago. So if you try a simple average of all a program’s ratings, they often will not equal the total rating.
7. There is a program I know of that you don’t list. How can I get it included?
Just go to the ‘Submit a Review‘ of this site, and let us know about it. As long as it is a proper credit card offer, we will be happy to add it.
8. How can I contact you?
You can contact us by writing email at Info(at)AwardWinningCreditCards(dot)com or using the submit a review form.
